"Bass Lake Provincial Park is a cute little Provincial Park, in a somewhat urban setting - near Orillia. The first few days of our stay were fantastic! Unfortunately, several families moved in on Thursday or Friday, and decided to treat this whole section of the campground as their own personal group camping site. The park seemed fine with just letting this continue into all hours of the night, which sucked. Our feelings about the park changed drastically from the first few days, to the last few days - directly as a result of this. So... we won’t be back. The park itself was nice enough, but the lack of enforcement really made things miserable."

"We give this park 5 out of 5 stars for having: Private Campsites, Great Amenities, Beautiful Beach, Available Hiking Trails, Well-maintained park. We really enjoyed the private campsites, the beautiful forests, the clean lake and the peaceful vibe. We would totally recommend this park, and we will definitely be back!"

"Bass lake is a beautiful provincial park. Campsites seemed to be nice. Park staff was very friendly. We planned to spend the day paddle boarding and fishing the lake. But unfortunately the water was unsafe due to the blue green algae, which was a shame. So instead we hiked the bass lake waterfront trail. It was around 2.5km and took about 45 minutes. Lots of cool stuff to see and some elevation. Was a decent hike. Will be back to explore the lake when it's safe to do so."
