"Close to Ottawa for a visit but far enough away to be in a forest. Had a muddy site but it dried out when the rain cleared for a couple of days. Great wildlife viewing - deer came through several times. Otters playing in Carp River. Great paddle boarding and swimming."

"Pine Grove Campground had an excellent comfort station with showers and laundry. Cost included 30A power. Campground is rustic. We stayed at campsite 25 which was very small. Best sites are along the Carp River with no power. Day use beach much nicer than campers beach."

"Where do I start? The worst Provincial Park EVER! We've stayed in state and provincial parks all over North America. We've been in 42 US states and 6 provinces and this is without doubt the worst park ever. Bring a very, very, very long extension cable to reach the 30A/15A pillar box. Bring your boots as well - maybe a chain saw as well to trim the low branches. And if you get fed up with the breaker tripping, bring a generator."
