"Tonight's campsite at Obatanga was nice and private, right on the lake. After arrival and set up, I walked the 2.5km loop fire trail. It was a great experience."

"Despite being along Highway 17, the main campground was relatively underused. The sounds of the highway could be heard, but we really enjoyed the rapids between Obatanga and Knife. That was fun."

"Obatanga was our most favorite park for years. We went there every summer and still can't fathom how it was abandoned. It was superb for canoeing."
