Quetico Provincial Park, located in Northwestern Ontario, is a natural haven with over 2,000 lakes perfect for canoeing and fishing. As Ontario's first wilderness class park, it offers minimal human contact and a tradition of low-impact wilderness canoeing. "Beautiful, peaceful park. Great fishing, beautiful river to kayak or canoe. This momma moose had two calves playing on the river's edge. Friendly staff always keeping the restrooms guest ready. First timers there, will definitely be back."
"Nice day use area at the Dawson Trail entrance near the beach. Information office has lots of information and memorabilia. There was a Bear alert warning when we visited so we were careful to keep watch, but we didn't see any bears or evidence of their presence."
"The ladies working in the Visitor Center were awesome! Very helpful and friendly, kind. We took the short easy walk from the lot to the lake to stretch our legs a bit after a morning of driving. It was perfect. No one else around. Our dog loved it too. Only negative was the mosquitos but they werenβt even that bad."
