"Semi level sites, some better than others, with a good bit of privacy. Sites are small. Water fill station is the very first right once you turn off 17. Fill with water before proceeding to gate house, otherwise you will have to go all the way through the park and back out again to fill."

"Rainbow Falls consists of two campgrounds - a smaller one on Lake Superior (Rossport) and a larger one on Whitesand Lake. We used Whitesand Lake as our base to hike the Casque Isles Trail at the beginning of August. The campground offered limited services due to COVID."

"The Whitesand Lake Campground has several loops. I would recommend the Maggie loop as most sites in that loop are fairly level and spacious. This loop has a lot of seasonal campers. I do not recommend the Selim loop sites 1-21 as the road in has a lot of potholes and overhanging trees that scrape your RV and the sites are small and very unlevel."
