"Selkirk Provincial Park is a quiet, cozy campground, nestled on the shores of Lake Erie. Our first night was disappointing due to a gross beach and a dangerous campsite. We asked a Facebook group if the park was normally 'meh' and received negative responses, which were later censored. This left a sour taste about the park."

"Smaller pebble beach but huge shady grassy picnic area. Campground and beach area are located together, meaning most campers walk to the beach. The west beach is actually nicer and goes on a ways with ample tree cover – a really pretty spot that reminded me of Florida. Beaches are pebbly and water was murky with algae and debris but still swimmable."

"An often overlooked gem. Selkirk has a reputation for being dowdy, with no sandy beach to speak of. However, we adore Selkirk for both early spring and late fall camping. It's like camping in a well-manicured garden with acres of grass, huge sites, ample trees for hammocks, and a great playground. It's a perfect place to camp with friends."
