Serpent Mounds Provincial Park, located on the north shore of Rice Lake near Keene, Ontario, is an Indigenous Cultural Heritage tourism and education site owned by Hiawatha First Nation. It is renowned for its unique archaeological significance, featuring ancient burial mounds, including a distinctive serpent-shaped effigy mound, the only one of its kind in Canada. The site aims to protect sacred burial mounds, increase respect for Indigenous culture, and is currently undergoing redevelopment with plans for phased reopening.

"Absolutely love the park but am very dissappointed that it has been closed for many years for renovations. Understand that they are trying to upgrade the park."
"Our land is very private and beautifully sheltered by trees all around the campsite. There is an open field as well that also has trees on the outskirts."
"Thanks for letting me join the page. We have our own Serpent Mounds in Keene Ontario Canada. Unfortunately the general public no longer has access to it."
