"Mara Provincial Park is a small park & campground on the northern shore of Lake Simcoe. The campground area shows devastation from emerald ash borer. The sites have zero privacy and are wide open. This park is more for chilling on the beach than intensive recreation. The large beach area is the main attraction."

"The park is clean and well-maintained. The beach is a decent size and the park is generally quiet with large, private sites. There's a park on the beach that my kids love. We camped at Mara Provincial Park and enjoyed our stay."

"We had a really great time at Mara. While the weather didn’t always cooperate during our stay, we were able to make some use of all the facilities at this park. We would only come back during the hot summer months when we could make use of the beach. While there was nothing really wrong with this park, it was definitely not a favourite."
