"Mikisew is a jewel, but... Why haven't the washrooms and showers at the comfort station (near site 142) been cleaned in more than 12 hours? The men's bathroom, esp the the toilets and floor, are in bad shape (the toilet in the handicap stall has been plugged since at least 7 pm yesterday.) It's great that showers have reopened."
"Beautiful lake for paddling! This was my second trip to Mikisew. Mikisew was originally a private campground that was taken over by Ontario Parks in the 60s. The sites nearest the lake are generally more private than those in the upper level."
"Great time! Best beaches. Short trails. Nice distance between sites. Great welcome at checkin. The two towns nearby have anything you need. We camped at Mikisew Provincial Park in a Travel Trailer."
