🌲 About This Park

This 400-acre conservation area offers a full day of exploration and adventure, with breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside and glimpses of the area’s history. See where settlers once toiled to cut a living out of the wilderness. Timber and limestone proved to be big businesses for this area, resulting in the establishment of nearby communities like Singhampton and Glen Huron. The unique geology has created a veritable land before time, with trails passing through caves, hardwood and coniferous forests, and open meadows.

"This is a great trail system. Parking fees are nominal, contributing to the funding of the area's maintenance. $11 including tax."

"Visit their website before you go. You will find very precise instructions on your destination, because Google Maps may mislead you to the wrong entrance!"

"Beautiful hiking trail, and the caves are interesting. We paid $10 for parking (online only). We completed the western trail, so we have to go back and explore the eastern side to enjoy the views. If you don't have a 4x4, I don't recommend it."
